Campaigner, Trainer, Disinformation Expert
Jordy Nijenhuis

Jordy Nijenhuis is a storyteller, campaigner, consultant and trainer based in the Netherlands, with over 10 years of experience countering disinformation, hate and polarisation. He is the director of Dare to be Grey, an award-winning organisation countering polarisation, disinformation and hate.

He co-founded the European Observatory of Online Hate (EOOH), serves as dissemination officer at the International Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH), and is the lead trainer of RNTC's Digital Media to Counter Disinformation and Hate course. Across a range of international projects, he trains media professionals from all over the world in social media campaigning, storytelling, and countering radicalisation, hate speech and disinformation.

His recent work sits at the centre of the online challenges we’re facing, from leading threat-detection reporting on online hate and information manipulation across Europe, to building The Feed, a large-scale interactive platform that teaches manipulation tactics through social-media-style simulations. He believes media is a powerful tool for behavioural change, and that countering disinformation demands new, creative approaches rather than the same old playbook.

“Every course is a promise: practical tools, ethical rigor, and creative courage so our participants can produce impactful, unbiased media for audiences that need it most.”
