RNTC Courses FAQ

An RNTC course is not a boring lecture series, but rather an interactive, learner-centred training, including: lectures, group and individual projects, coaching, and self-study time.

We provide high-quality learning experiences, with plenty of individual support from our expert trainers and interaction with fellow course participants. We highly value the group experience, recognising that you can also learn a lot from your peers.

Each course has a specific theme. We use three variations in our learning formats: in-person, online and blended (which is a combination). In all our formats, we combine tools and platforms to create interactive and inspiring trainings with our learn-by-doing approach.

Presently, due to COVID-19, all courses take place online via Zoom. In advance of the course the Course Coordinator will send you the information you need to access the Zoom rooms.

You will need a quiet place from which you can study and work on course assignments undisturbed.

We offer 15-day courses and 5-day courses. Typically, these days will be spread out over several weeks and you will only be online with us 3-4 days per week.

Each day you are in session you should expect to be online for 6 hours with an hour lunch break (5 working hours). Additionally, there will be some independent assignment and "homework" hours.

In advance of the course, we will host 2 introductory "Coffee Chat” meetings. The first is approximately 1.5 hours long, and the second is one hour long. We expect you to participate in these as well.

We recommend that you speak with your employer in advance so that they are aware of the time investment. We can provide a letter to your employer with more information.

This is a group-oriented training, and we do expect you to join every scheduled session. In case of emergencies or last-minute unavailability please inform us as soon as possible.

Sessions can be recorded and made available to course participants for 72 hours after a session. If you miss a session, you should still be able to keep up with your assignments.

The average group size ranges from 7 to 14 participants per course.

As an international training centre, we welcome participants from all over the world.

All our trainers are subject matter experts in their field. You will find out who the specific trainers of your course are in advance of the course.

Each course has one or two lead trainers. Additionally, we bring in guest trainers who facilitate some sessions within your course.

At the end of your course you will be awarded with a certificate of completion. You will also be invited to become a member of our international alumni network. Our alumni stay connected to share professional achievements and continue to offer each other advice and support.
